How to bring a fabulous portfolio of books online.

Another stupid attempt to drum up some business by taking this venerable line of books into the 21st century and making them more interactive and alive.

When the book cover appears, slide to the left

to see the table of contents. The nav bar allows several ways to view the book.

View option 2.

The text is deleted and the images mute in color slightly. When the viewer touches an image, it expands and a text box appears.

The viewer would tap again on the image to go back to the original screen. Or tap the forward/backward icons to go to the next image with text.

At any time in viewing the book you can scroll through an icon strip (which slides up to appear and down to disappear), showing each page in consecutive order.

Touch “What is a train?” on the table of  contents or the page icon to go to that page.

View option 3.

The screen image is similar to before, but now the viewer hears the words spoken. The viewer can choose a male or female narrator.

The viewer would tap again on the image to go back to the original screen. Or tap the forward/backward icons to go to the next image with narrator.

View option 1.

View the page as it was originally published. In the vertical format, the viewer will scroll the image left or right to see the entire page.

The viewer can enlarge the page at any time for a closer look. out

The demo continues through videos displayed, references to other pages, and so on. And there are plenty of books to draw from.
