While on vacation in Hong Kong with another couple and their two kids and our daughter, Lucia, I thought it would be fun to explore. We were to all meet up on Lamda Island. Charlie (age 10) and Lucia (age 4) and I set off on a five-hour adventure. As we marched on I realized I had only $23.00 in my pocket. But on we went, with my daughter in black patent leather shoes. How stupid of me is that? But we made it, and they had the time of their life.
